How Pics.io Photo Recognition Feature Works?
This AI Photo recognition functionality uses faces to recognize and tag people in your DAM library. You need to identify a person manually only once. In such a way, the Pics.io DAM system will know who it should be looking for.
The step-by-step process is as follows:
Upload or choose an existing photo in your library. Our face recognition feature will detect all faces in the photo and create a face region around every face.
Click on a face region to assign a name to that face. Once assigned, this face becomes a person in your library.
Once you’re done, you’ll see the person’s profile picture and name in the asset’s info panel to the right. If several people are in a photo, clicking a bounding box highlights their name in the sidebar.
Now, whenever you use AI recognition on a photo with a person that you’ve already identified, Pics.io will automatically tag that person. You can also use facial recognition on multiple assets at once.
You can search through your library using a person in a photo as a search criteria
If you ever need to edit or delete information about recognized persons, you can do it by going to the person list in the panel on the left.
